UCLA’s premier tech and product club that brings together students with curious minds and entrepreneurial spirits to build solutions that tackle the most pressing problems facing the UCLA community and beyond.

 

  • Networked and negotiated a 3-month external paid project and built a team of developers.

  • Led marketing team and started a weekly virtual club meet and greet series for upcoming freshmen during the pandemic- interacted with 400+ interested students 

  • Organized 10+ summer events in partnership with Robinhood, PayPal, etc and increased member retention by 50%

Undergraduate Students Association Council- held position for website director and member of affordability committee

 

  • Designed and built the website from scratch and achieved traffic of over 2000-page views a month

  • Worked on the Affordability Platform for UCLA students and advocated decrease of laundry costs from $2.75 to $1.5 for 20 years and designed a program to provide free bluebooks and scantrons for all types of exams

Product Manager Intern

Startup with world's first interactive, educational tool to make estate planning more affordable to consumers. Responsible for design and specification of new product strategies and features and direct team of 5 developers for sprint planning and review meetings.

 

  • Launched online fundraising platform, FamilyFund, with 35 fundraisers and over $4000+ in transactions in the first month.

  • Increased sprint velocity from 45 points per week to 105 points per week by optimizing product management tool, introducing product story chats and starting a daily developer talk series to discuss time-saving techniques

  • Launched EstateReady- a SaaS platform for lawyers to acquire and nurture leads- with 60+ lawyer monthly subscribers

Pulp is an iOS travel recommendation app that utilizes the user’s social network to provide personalized recommendations for interesting activities and places near them. Led a team (6 developers, 1 designer, and 1 sales personnel) working on the app.

 

  • Led the product from ideation to the final production app with 250+ beta signups

  • Developed 4 major pages of the initial prototype: Discover, MapView, Explore, Listings. 

  • Set up a database for users, places, and reviews on MongoDB and deployed backend routes to AWS ec2 service.

• Worked on google tag manager implementation to test and analyze user interactions. Also worked on an AI chat bot capable of simple and 3 layers deep conversations

• Used various languages and tools such as PHP, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React, FileZilla and MAMP for developing and testing
