At the Caltech Hackathon, we won the Best Hack for creating an image search mobile application for shopping. Check our Devpost

You can click a photo with the application at set a few budgets, condition parameters. Then the iOS app uses Google Cloud's Vision API to divide the pictures into various sections like Head, Torso, Legs, Face, etc and we queried the same to eBay's Listing API. This provided much better search results as the app queried for the right object.

 

For example, if you took a photo of a person but are only looking to buy the spectacles they are wearing- any normal image search would return results for shirts, jeans and a mix of the products. With EasyBay you would get each product separately that you can filter through. Here is a video example:
